User Defined Alerts
BSM's highly customizable Tractor/Trailer Security solution enables
managers to tailor the system to meet ever changing business
requirements. Events include a host of standard occurrences,
complete with user specific business rules and reporting intervals.
Events can be scheduled multiple times daily, daily, weekly or based
on exception.
Dual Mode Network
Communications
In circumstances where the primary wireless data network becomes
unavailable, the in-vehicle device will automatically switch to a
secondary network of your choice seamlessly and without data loss.
This ensures that in in cases of an emergency that the alarm is sent
to the host or monitoring center.
Inclusive/Exclusive
Geo-Fencing (Geo-Zone) and Landmarks
Knowing when one or more of your vehicles have entered or exited a
location provides critical data to protect your assets and their
cargo.
Peripheral Device Support
As your requirements grow, your demands on the technology used to
provide your products and services will as well. The Sentinel-FM
system is scalable and can ultimately support a wide variety of
devices that provide additional security like biometrics and keypads
to restrict those accessing the vehicles or arming and disarming the
asset. Other devices can include, MDT's (Mobile Display Terminals),
bar code readers, PDA's, digital cameras, etc.*
Enhanced Power Management
BSM has advanced power management capabilities that enable the
system to operate off a battery for extended lengths of time and the
hardware will notify the central monitoring center when the vehicle
or standalone device battery is running low. Even if the automatic
notification is ignored or missed, the last known position of the
vehicle is sent before the battery is completely depleted. The unit
is programmed to wake up per schedule and report or look for a
message.
Location and Tracking
Knowing where your vehicles are in real-time significantly reduces
loss and improves vehicle usage. From your own facility, vehicles
are displayed on a user-friendly digital map employing various
levels of pan, tilt and zoom capabilities. Additionally, information
such as door openings, armed and unarmed, speed, time, and the
direction the vehicle is traveling is also provided. In case of a
security breach the asset can be programmed to report in
automatically on predetermined schedule. The system features real
time tracking of any vehicle in the event that is had been stolen.
This vital information can be easily relayed to local law
enforcement.

reports from the available data. Several canned reports have been
designed enabling owners and managers to adapt to changing business
